This lovely home, located in the heart of Riverside, boasts a 100+ year legacy and a kitchen that had been re-done in the ‘80s. The homeowners wanted a fresh take on the space for entertaining. They also wanted to respect the home’s history while putting a contemporary spin on their kitchen remodel.
Three areas—a breezeway, a laundry room, and a smaller kitchen—were combined to create a larger kitchen floor plan for this project. Old and new coalesced to create this stunning space and preserve the home’s character.

The couple was brave enough to select a dynamic and non-traditional color—pale navy, one of the most popular Pantone colors of the year—for their cabinets and juxtaposed the bold look while preserving the home’s original flooring. The result is a beautiful space, perfect for all their future guests!
