Wichita Art Museum

Living Through Art

Founded in 1935, the Wichita Art Museum brings people, ideas, and American art together to enrich lives and build community. The museum’s nationally distinguished permanent collection has grown to more than 8,000 objects, and the museum also features a café, museum store, and eight-acre outdoor Art Garden, sited along the Little Arkansas River, which provides a breathtaking landscape surround for its thirteen outdoor sculptures.

The Wichita Art Museum regularly hosts national exhibits, local programs, and events, and is a public/private partnership owned by the City of Wichita and managed by Wichita Art Museum, Inc.
